About Made It Fit
Made It Fit is about making limited space work. Two things, mostly: getting a closet or a room to hold what you own, and getting a week into a carry-on. They turn out to be the same problem — a fixed volume and more stuff than fits — so the same thinking covers both.
How things get recommended
Articles start from a problem people actually search for, not from a product we want to sell. The recommendation comes last, after the part that would have been useful even if you bought nothing.
We do not publish hands-on reviews of products we have not used. Where a guide tells you what something does, that comes from the manufacturer's own specification and is checked against it. Where it tells you something is not worth buying, that is our reasoning and we show the reasoning.
Most articles here have a section about what not to buy. That is deliberate. A page that recommends everything is not a recommendation.
How this is paid for
Some links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Links that earn us nothing sit alongside them on exactly the same terms: whether something solves the problem is the only thing that decides what appears. See the affiliate disclosure for the full statement.
Who writes it
Made It Fit is an independent site run by one person, writing for a United States audience. It is not affiliated with any of the brands mentioned.
